Here’s how to use this:

How to schedule an email in Apple mail

Open the Mail app >> and click the Compose Mail button (represented by a paper plane) at the top. Optionally, this can also be done by going to File >> New Message (in the menu bar) or using the shortcut ⌘ command plus N.

Once you’ve entered your message and other fields (such as recipient, subject, and signature), click the down arrow next to the send icon (at the top left).

Choose when you want to send the email: “Send Now“, “Send Tonight at 21:00” or “Send Later“. In the latter case, select the desired date and time for the message to be sent. When you are done, click on “Schedule“.

Afterwards, you can view scheduled emails by selecting “Send Later” below the Toolbar or in the sidebar. Click on one of them and go to “Edit” to change the date and/or time of sending the email.

To delete it, left-click on the message preview (in the sidebar) and choose “Delete“.

If you’re using a touchpad, swipe two fingers from right to left over it and click “Delete“. You can also go to Edit » Delete (in the menu bar) or use the shortcut  plus delete.
